Mobius is a Chinese sci-fi mystery drama centered around Detective Ding Qi, who unexpectedly acquires a supernatural ability to relive the same day up to five times. Each cycle resets at midnight, and only a few individuals retain memories across loops. Ding Qi uses the first four iterations to gather clues and evidence, aiming to prevent crimes in the final loop.
The story intensifies when a cryptic murder warning from a suspect named “Squid” emerges, leading Ding Qi to suspect that Squid might also possess time-loop powers. As the investigation unfolds, it points toward a genetic biotechnology company called MOMA, where a series of executive deaths raise further suspicions. With each loop, Ding Qi uncovers deeper layers of betrayal, hidden motives, and the fragile balance between power and vulnerability.
